What is SAPHNELO®?
A Targeted Infusion Treatment for Lupus
SAPHNELO®, is a targeted treatment specifically approved for adults with moderate to severe systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) who are receiving standard therapy. As part of VIP Rheumatology’s comprehensive care approach, SAPHNELO®, is the first and only FDA-approved treatment that works by blocking type I interferon (IFN-1) activity, a central driver in lupus disease.

Treatment Schedule
If you are prescribed SAPHNELO®, your treatment plan will include an intravenous (IV) infusion given over approximately 30 minutes every four weeks by a skilled infusion nurse.
Preparation for Your Comfort
We understand that preparation time before the infusion may vary, and our team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience. Your well-being is our priority at every step of the process. There is always at least one healthcare professional available to answer any questions or concerns you may have throughout your treatment. We also can put you in contact with a patient ambassador who has been receiving infusion therapies and can answer questions on a more personal level.
