Treatment Schedule
If you are prescribed REMICADE®, your treatment plan will typically include:
- Initial treatment: Three intravenous infusions at Weeks 0, 2, and 6
- Maintenance treatment: Intravenous infusions approximately every 4-8 weeks thereafter (about six infusions per year)
REMICADE® is administered as an intravenous infusion over approximately two hours by a VIP healthcare professional, ensuring proper administration and monitoring throughout your treatment journey.
Preparation for Your Comfort
We understand that preparation time before your treatment may vary, and our team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience during your infusion sessions. Your well-being is our priority at every step of the process, and our infusion suite is designed to maximize your comfort during the two-hour infusion time. There is always at least one healthcare professional available to answer any questions or concerns you may have throughout your treatment. We also can put you in contact with a patient ambassador who has been receiving infusion therapies and can answer questions on a more personal level.
