ENTYVIO^® is a targeted biologic treatment specifically approved for adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease. As part of VIP Rheumatology’s comprehensive care approach, ENTYVIO^® provides an FDA-approved treatment that works by specifically targeting the gut, blocking certain white blood cells from entering inflamed gut tissue through a mechanism known as gut-selective integrin blockade.

Treatment Schedule If you are prescribed ENTYVIO^®, your treatment plan will typically include:

Initial treatment: Intravenous infusions by a skilled infusion nurse at Weeks 0, 2, and 6
Maintenance treatment: Intravenous infusions every 8 weeks thereafter

ENTYVIO^® is administered as a 300 mg intravenous infusion over approximately 30 minutes by a VIP healthcare professional, ensuring proper administration and monitoring throughout your treatment journey.

Preparation for Your Comfort

We understand that preparation time before your treatment may vary, and our team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience during your infusion sessions. Your well-being is our priority at every step of the process, and our infusion suite is designed to maximize your comfort during treatment. There is always at least one healthcare professional available to answer any questions or concerns you may have throughout your treatment. We also can put you in contact with a patient ambassador who has been receiving infusion therapies and can answer questions on a more personal level.
